She was predeceased by : her daughter Suzanne Sara Shields. She is survived by : her husband Richard Dale Shields; her children, Mickie Patterson and Alton Shields (Betsy); her grandchildren, Tara Shields, Terrance Shields, Joshua Allbright (Daniel Simon), J. D. Allbright, Jesse Blue, Sara Shields (Cameron Munro), Stephen Shields and Clemencia Harmon; and her brother Alton Monroe. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
