He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah (Julio Valdo) and Larry; and his grandson Shane Jaramillo. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey and Gaylene Ortiz; his siblings, Mike (Cindy) and Dale Sanchez; and his siblings' children, David, Veronica, Camille, Sarah and Sharlyn. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and other cherished family members.
