He was predeceased by : his father Finis Dale McDonald; his son Riley Newkirk; and his grandparents, Mabel Thompson, Paul Giraud, Gertrude and Finis McDonald.
He is survived by : his mother Frances Pennington (Alisa Ebell) of Bakersfield California; his children, Jonlyn (Brian Nazeri) of Raton, NM, Mark McDonald of Raton, NM, Tommy (Hattie Newkirk) of Tijeras, NM, Natashia McDonald of Folsom, NM and Hayden Patno of Folsom, NM; his siblings, Natali McDonald of Bakersfield, CA and Punkie Birch of Grants Pass, OR.; and his grandchildren, Carly, Rilee Newkirk of Albuquerque, NM, Connor McDonald of Raton, NM, Katie, Jessica, Emily and Annie Arellanes of Carrizozo, NM..
