It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kent Helin of Raton, New Mexico, born in Dodge City, Kansas, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Northern-Helin and Charlotte Northern-Helin; his son Derek J. Helin; his brother Gary J. Helin; and his niece Tara R. Helin.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith; his son Darin Helin (Tonya) of Dodge City, KS.; his grandchildren, Hunter, Fisher and Daisy of Dodge City, KS.; and his great grandchild Bristyl Ray Helin.
