He was predeceased by: his wife Blanca; his sons, Jorge and Francisco; and his siblings, Pepe, Rafael and Carmela Dominguez.
He is survived by: his sons, Jesse Merino (Veronica) of Johnstown, Eduardo Merino (Maricela) of Roswell and Fredie Merino (Christi) of Canyon, Texas; his grandchildren, Shelby Rael, Adrian Merino (Tiffany), Abigail Medeles, Christian Merino, Mikaela Merino, Eduardo Merino and Jesus Merino; and his great grandchildren, Reverie, Lukas, Gideon and Knoxly.
