He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette McDaniel and Mildred McDaniel; his daughter Beth Mims; and his siblings, Johnny McDaniel, Virginia Tillman and Velma Randolph.
He is survived by: his wife Marcine McDaniel; his daughters, Amy (Mike Joy), Lyn (Monti Vandiver), Jana (Shane Perkins) and Kristy (Gary White); his grandchildren, Cydni Vandiver, Cami Jo, Blaize Hartig, Ray, Brogan White, K'Leigh, Mason Holcomb, Jace Perkins, Slade Perkins and Aidan Perkins; his brother Denton; and his sister-in-law Diane McDaniel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
