He was predeceased by: his parents, L. C. Brown and Iola Brown of Thomaston Alabama; and his brother Cecil of Thomaston Alabama. He is survived by: his cousin Gary; his uncle Jim; his wife Wanda Brown; his daughter Dorothy Tarter (Steve); his siblings, Betty Vergeson (Charles) of Tallahassee Fl and Jim Brown (Peggy) of Lanette Alabama; his sister-in-law Olivia Brown of Opelika, Alabama; his nieces and nephews, Gary Brown (Laura), Little Jim Brown (Shannon), Keith Vergeson, John Vergeson (Melissa), David Papworth (Pauline), Melody LeCroy (Braxton), Janice Brown, Denise Kelley and Cindy Ruff; his great-nieces, Chris Knudsen (Audrey), Peter Knudsen (Diana) and Ashley Knudsen; and his friends, Craig and Doretta Hipple. He is also survived by dad and mom, and were always bringing food over, Hope and Bill Parker who always called to check on mom and dad, Wanda and Jim Sexe…special lifelong friends, and a very good friend.
