He is survived by: his wife Esabel Thurman; his children, Christina (TJ Frederick), Elizabeth (Derrick Heady), Ashley (Britney Thurman) and Randy Bailey of Roswell; his grandchildren, Grayson, Hayden, Ian Frederick, Nickolas, Meghan, Lindsey, Jace Heady, Destani, Faith, David G. Thurman, Brayden and Maci Tyler; his siblings, Linda (Tony Sanchez), Tim Thurman of West Virginia, Anita (Steve Lidy), Becky (Joe Winkler) and Pam (Richard Cibak); his aunts and uncles, Wayne, Juanita Sullins, Ken and Esther Thurman; his close friends, Hilda Quiroz, Darrel Graveline, Raymond Santillan and Alex De Leon; and his pet Cole. He is also survived by friends, co-workers, and neighborhood friends.
He was a supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
