She was predeceased by: her parents, David Pedroza and Rosa Romos Pedroza; and her sisters, Felicitas Acosta, Antonia Madrid, Lydia Fuentes, Albina Hernandez, Zenida Pedroza, Teresa Chavez and Maria Elena Navarrette.

She is survived by: her spouse Sabino Oliva; her siblings, David Pedroza Jr., Angelita Sifuentes of Roswell, Ernestina "Tina" Lara of Carlsbad and Aurora Sonora of Carlsbad; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Duran, Ariana Duran and Lily Munoz. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
