She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis F. Svedine and Cora T. Svedine; her husband Philip Getchell; her son Kenneth Getchell; her granddaughter Crystal L. Getchell; and her siblings, Carol Willis, Shirley Elbe, Trudy Ottaviono and Donald Svedine.
She is survived by: her son George Getchell (Gayla) of Roswell, NM; her grandchildren, Chelsea Getchell of Las Cruces, NM and Kenny Getchell (Randi); her great grandchildren, Blakely and Charlie Rose of Ft. Worth, TX; and her sisters, Betty Heavey and Virginia Manahan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
