He was predeceased by: his parents, William Odell and Helen Gilcrease; and his brothers, Benny Gilcrease and William Clyde Gilcrease. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Gilcrease; his son Jerry F. Gilcrease (Melissa); his grandchildren, Megan, Skipper and Yancey Kendal; his daughter Donna Rodriguez (Joshua); his brother Calvin Gilcrease (Mary); and his nieces and nephews, Ernie Gilcrease (Lisa), Philip Gilcrease (Kim), Mike Smith (Mary), Evelyn Wyndra (Marty), Ann Garlinger (Eric), Rhonda Martinez (Joaquin) and Tammy Farmer (Greg).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to the Roswell Cancer Society.
