She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandfather Clifton; her husband J. B. Phelps; her parents, Forrest Bridges and Estelline Bridges; her brother James Bridges; her children, Janice Stewart (Doug) of Roswell and Steve H. Phelps (Gloria) of Roswell; her sister Pat Williams (Herb) of Houston; and her sister-in-law Joyce Bridges of Waxahachie, TX.. She was also cherished by four children and three grandsons.
