He was predeceased by: his daughter Lara Wheat; his parents, O. W. "Dub" and Martha Morgan; and his grandparents, John, Victoria Morgan, Barny and Nonie Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline S. Morgan; his children, John M. Morgan Jr. and Jennifer R. Ramage; his grandchildren, Kasten Ramage, Kaden Ramage, Kannon Ramage, Rebekah L. Morgan (Rachael Fields), Samuel Morgan, Tristen Allen and Emily Wheat (Abigail Wheat); his great grandchild Greyson Allen; his sisters, Sue Hobbs and Louise Haley; and his nieces, Julie McCormick (Jay Haley) and Deborah Hobbs.
