He is survived by: his wife Hermelinda Mata; his children, Lynda Mata (Lorenzo Gandara), Johnny Mata (Regina De Leon), Amanda Carrera (David Carrera) and Carlos Mata (Cortnie Mata); his grandchildren, Alonzo Rivas, Leilani Rivas, Yulianna Rivas, Nathyn Gandara, Jazlyn Mata, Jacob Mata, Yandel Carrera, Giovanni Carrera, Genessa Carrera, Madalyn Mata and Ryan Mata; his sisters, Mary Ann Mata, Eva Torres Carrasco and Norma Mata W.; his aunts, Nellie Reyes and Billie Torres; his uncle Tony Torres; and also Tim.
