She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Walter and Rosie Powell; her husband L. Jay; her children, Kenneth L. Jay and Linda J. Hinkle; her son-in-law John T. Hinkle; her sisters, Shirley Kitchens of Texas and Myra Smith of Texas; and her daughter-in-law Tina Jay. She was also cherished by 3 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
