She was predeceased by: her siblings, Joan Blount, Helen West Brinker and Lee Warren Thompson; and her son Robert Lee Merritt. She is survived by: her spouse Verl Dean Merritt May; and her children, Barbara Mitchell (Kirk) of St. George, UT, Donald Merritt (Linda) of West Jordan, UT and Rebecca Petterson (Tim) of Jerome, ID.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
