It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Lucero (Roswell, New Mexico), who passed away on August 14, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Reyes Macedo and Luz Reyes Espinoza; her siblings, Esperanza, Lucina and Ricardo; her significant other Tony; and her sons, Anthony S. Lucero, Jr. and Henry R. Lucero.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Anthony S. Lucero II and Laura J. Lucero-Carrillo (Chris); her son Richard D. Lucero of Roswell, NM; her grandson Derek Scifres; her daughter Stella M. Bacca (John Bacca) of Las Cruces; her grandchildren, Joshua D. Lucero (Thayer) and Keenan Lucero (Savannah); her daughters, Anna V. Lucero of Albuquerque, NM and Gina Dwyer (Chuck) of Roswell, NM; her grandson Eric; her fiancé Matt Thompson of Roswell, NM; her daughter Danielle M. Urquides (Donald L. Ross, Jr.); and also Sadie. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
