It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Joe Vigil Sr. (Roswell, New Mexico), who passed away on April 22, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Steve J. Vigil Jr.; his parents, Manuel Vigil and Josephine Vigil; and his siblings, Charles Gonzales, Margie Lucero and Erminda Guttierez.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Vigil (Kathy); his children, Sarah Sanchez (Adrian), Marty Vigil (Lorena) and Eugene Vigil (Antoinette); his daughter-in-law Maria Vigil; his grandchildren, Regina Vigil (Chris), Daniel Vigil, Adriana Sanchez, Faith Garcia, Jennifer Vigil, Juliana Vigil, Jackie Vigil, Steve Vigil III, Bianca Lopez (Everett), Santana Vigil (Deyton), Jonathon Vigil and Lianna Vigil; his great grandchildren, Amariyah, Aiden, MichaelRay, Maribel, Maximus, Olivia, Emri and Emmy; and his siblings, Christine Uribes of Toledo, OH, Martha Madrid of Pueblo, CO, Billy Gonzales of Denver, CO, Rosemary Scott of Albuquerque, NM and Manuel Vigil of Skandia, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
