He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Graves and Viola Graves; his sister Sharon Graves; and his nephew Tim Smith. He is survived by: his wife Oretta of Roswell; his daughter Bella; his siblings, Bobby (Yvonne Graves) of Roswell and Debra Smith of Ruidoso; his brother-in-law Elmer Whitehead, Jr. (Lawanna) of Kingston; his daughter Jennifer (Rankin Harvey) of Frisco; and his stepchildren, Dan Letcher of Las Cruces, Jamie, Jeff Martin of Hebron and Jodie Nichols of Alamogordo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
