She is survived by: her husband David Leo Thompson; her daughter Sharon Whitehead Gilmore; her granddaughter Lisa Eddleman (Brandon); her great grandchild Britten Eddleman; her grandson Brandon Lee; her son Phillip Whitehead (Jacqueline); her grandsons, Ryan Connell (Nick Zammit) and Jason Walker (Nikki); her great grandchildren, Hanna Walker of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Hayden Walker of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Emma Walker of Collinsville, Oklahoma and Rowan Walker of Collinsville, Oklahoma; her grandson Taylor Whitehead (Hannah); her great grandchild Winnie Whitehead; her son Russell Whitehead; her granddaughter Alicia Whitehead (Esau Lindsey); her great grandchild Bailey Whitehead; her granddaughter Stacey Benton (Jason) of Pampa, TX; her great grandchildren, Cassidey Ramming of Pampa, TX. and Brooke Smith (Levi) of Pampa, TX.; and her pets, Brett, Shane and Jackson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
David and Edna didn't retire until Edna was age 86, and then only when the Covid pandemic forced them to consider the feasibility of continuing work safely.
