He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Alfred Pennington and Mary Pennington (Grimes); his daughters, Billie Carol Payne (Shorty) of Belen, NM and Alice Kathleen Armendariz (Steve) of Silver City; his grandchildren, David Ray Ramey, Jr., William Ramey, David Cory Payne and Crystal Dawn Payne McLain; and his wife Carolyn. He was also cherished by great grandchildren.
