She was predeceased by: her parents, Elidoro Tapia and Frances Pena Tapia; her siblings, Jesusita Tapia, Veronica Tapia-Martinez, Virginia Tapia, Santiago Tapia, Jimmy Avila and Elidoro Tapia Jr.; her brothers-in-law, Joe, Ernest and Herbert; her siblings' children, Ernest "Nene" Zamora and Linda Tapia; and her goddaughter Vanessa Tapia.
She is survived by: her daughters, Andrea Varos and Hope Tapia; her siblings, Robert (Marylou), Henry, Eddie, Isabel, Marcella (Tommy), Ramona, Frances Ortega (Angelo), Maria and Margaret Avila (Andy); and her godson Daniel Tapia.
