She is survived by : her husband John Benson Whitehead; her children, Michael Lee Whitehead (Rachael), Anastasia Amaurie Whitehead and Marcus Aurelius Whitehead; her grandson John Lawrence Whitehead; her parent Mary Francis Barela; and her siblings, Raymond Matthew Anaya (Susan) and Deborah Mente. She is also survived by numerous aunts/uncles, nieces/nephews, cousins, and friends.
