She was predeceased by : her son Jose Luis Castillo Jr.. She is survived by : her daughter Luz E. Espalin; her husband Jose Luis Castillo; her children, Josie E. Barraza, David Espalin Jr. and Stephany L. Ramirez; and her grandchildren, Jaide Angela Celeste Castillo, Alexzandra Marisa Fierro Castillo, Eva Isabella Fierro, Hayden Daniel Ramirez, David and Elizabeth Luz Linda Espalin.
Her caring nature and desire to help others made it easy to serve her community through the occasional volunteer work at voting polls and helping children in need, both in Sunland Park and Juarez, through donations of school supplies and clothing.
