He was predeceased by : his parents, James Gordon and Maxine Montgomery (Kitchen); his parents-in-law, Clayton and Opal Slaugh; and his brother-in-law Craig Slaugh.
He is survived by : his wife Linda Faye Slaugh of Lund, Nevada; his children, James Chad Montgomery (Sandra Jeanette Hepworth) of Vernal, Utah, Julie Ann Hendrix (Steele Reid) of Henderson, Jennifer Lee Hendrix (Brandon Norris) of Elko, Camie Janeal, Kelinn Daicy Beardall (Mike) of Wells, Keauna Rena Shoemake (Steve) of LaGrange, Georgia and Kassidy Alicia Snedegar of St. George, Utah.; his siblings, Steven Ray Montgomery (Mary), Russell Scott Montgomery, Clay Gordon Montgomery, Diane Morton (David) of Vernal and JoAnn White (Brian) of Magna, Utah.; and his siblings-in-law, Burnell Kaye Slaugh (Carma) of Vernal, Lee J. Slaugh (Roxanne) of Vernal, Utah. and Shauna Giles (Joe) of Springville. He is also survived by Twenty-seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and 43 nieces and nephews and many other relatives.
