She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bobanic and Ann Bobanic (Dzumba); and her sister Shirley (Gene Sikora). She is survived by: her husband Donald Barnett; her sons, Dr. Sean Barnett (Desiree) of Arlington Heights, IL and Nicholas Barnett (Stephanie) of St. John, IN; her grandchildren, George, Anne, Gavin, Gwen and Darren; and her brother Basil Bobanic (Patricia) of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Carole's name.
