He was predeceased by: his stepfather Howard Ballard; his daughter Lynn Lindsay Moulton; and his grandparents, Sarah Lindsay, Lila Christensen, Bennett Lindsay and Hyrum Christensen.

He is survived by: his wife Dorthy; and his son Louis. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
