He is survived by: his spouse Olivia Velarde; his brothers, Leandro Diaz of Dallas, TX. and Alfredo Diaz of Dallas, TX.; and his children, David Diaz of Apple Valley, Cynthia Diaz-Navarrete of Las Vegas, NV, Robert Diaz of Victorville and Joanna Gutierrez (Michael) of Las Vegas, NV.
