He is survived by: his wife Ruthie Ahlbrand; his children, John C. Ahlbrand Jr. (Kentucky) and Julie Ahlbrand (Ohio); his granddaughter Kristine Ahlbrand; and his brother Jimmy Ahlbrand.
Despite battling Parkinson's and ten separate cancers over 15 years, John's optimism never wavered.
