He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his parents, Clarence Dieffenbaugh and Arminta Dieffenbaugh; and his siblings, Paul, Lawerence, Elmer Dieffenbaugh and Dorothy Facklam.
He is survived by: his children, Connie (Gene Wilde), Cathy Gordon, Mike (Tami Dieffenbaugh) and Christy (Tom Robertson). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
