He is survived by : his parents, Kim DePatie (Hennessy) and Mark Noonkester, Sr.; his sister Elizabeth DePatie; his grandparents, Florence Garrity, Mary Ellen Robinson and Obie Joe Noonkester; his uncle Daniel Hennessy; and his aunt Bonnie Garrity.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who would like to express their sorrow at MJ's passing donate to the Del Sol Cinematic Film Department, which provided an outlet for MJ's imaginative and intelligent spirit.
