He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Nichols; his children, Alfred McDaniels Jr. (Jackie), Msemaji Nichols (Vanessa), Daaiyah McDaniels and Sonja Dukes; and his brothers, Jesse Washington (Delores), Ronnie Montague (Karen), Bernard Washington (Renee), Warren Sam (Elaine), Gregory Washington and Rodney Washington.
