She was predeceased by: her parent Delphina Zatica; her husband Jose Gastanaga; her father John Zatica; her sisters, Emily Miller and Lillian Lequerica (Jose Gastanaga); her son Martin Gastanaga; and her niece MaryAnn Boner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dena Schmidt (Gerritt) and Jessica Gastanaga; her grandchildren, Nikki Landa (Trevor) and Gage Avera (Hannah); her sibling's children, Frankie Peterson (Andy), Tim Lequerica and Jonelle Krakau (Herb); and her cousins, Richard Gavica (Susan), Delphine Tinney and Jerri Gavica. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sonoma Funeral Home (47 W 1st St, Winnemucca, NV 89445). A rosary will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (350 Melarkey St, Winnemucca, NV 89445). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at the Paradise Valley Cemetery.
