It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George B. Carney (Accord, New York), born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 5, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Mosely R. Carney and Hazel P. Penley Carney; and his sister Marcelle Ashe. He is survived by : his wife Janet M. Worden Carney of Accord; his children, Janet Kean of Wurtsboro and George B. Carney Jr. of Accord; his brother Larry Carney of Kingston; and his grandchildren, Kaytlynn Muller of Colorado Springs and Scott Kean of Wurtsboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
