It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Ramus (Adams Center, New York), born in Watertown, New York, who passed away on December 10, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her children, Joan Marie, Richard and Michael; her brother Edward LaFountain; and her siblings-in-law, Helen LaFountain and Anthony "Chooch" Verne.
She is survived by : her children, John Ramus (Christine) of Watertown, Cindy Ramus (Gordon Davis) of Watertown, Joseph Ramus (Kimberly) and Adams; her siblings, Richard LaFountain (Rose) and Patricia Verne of Watertown; her parents, Edward LaFountain and Iris Harten LaFountain; her spouse John A. Ramus; and her sister Pat. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
