With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Jean Harter Macy of Adams, New York, born in Watertown, New York, who passed away on September 26, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd James and Alice Mae Harter (Hartley); her husband Robert Stuart Macy; her sister Carol; her granddaughter Deanna Downey; and her siblings-in-law, Catherine Grieve, Zelma Macy and Frank Macy.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Downey of Adams, NY, Michelle Macy of Watertown, NY and Jon; her daughter-in-law Sandra Macy of Vancouver, WA.; her grandchildren, Justin Macy (Melissa) and Logan Macy; her great grandchildren, Mya Sandoval, Mackenzie Macy and Theo Macy; her great great grandchildren, Roselle Sandoval and Isabel Sandoval; her brothers, Steven Harter (Barbara) and James Harter (Joanne); and her sister-in-law Pat Macy.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Red Cross or to a charity of one's choice.
