He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Castor and Leola Castor (Cross); his wife Betty Reff of Clayton; and his siblings, Phillip, Albert Castor, Frances Perry, Marjorie Perotta, Eleanor Maitland and Sylvia Pulis.

He is survived by : his children, Scott Castor (Michelle), James Castor (Amanda) and Melissa Wiseman (Walter); and his siblings, Edward, Lee Castor, Emma McNamara, Icalene Fitzgerald and Lucinda Russell. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
