He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Mary Coen; his parents, Myles Coen and Mary Coen; his sisters, Nancy Adams and Mollie Donato; his sisters-in-law, Helen McCarthy and Florence O'Neill; his grandson Sean; Thomas and Elizabeth Mahoney.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret O'Connor (John), James Coen (Kim), Eileen McGowan (Patrick) and Ellen Huber (Christopher); his grandchildren, Margaret Hanson (Timothy), Katherine O'Connor (Michael Ma), Brian McGowan (Erin), Jillian Marano (Billy), Christopher Huber (Wendy Clarke), Kahlie Coen, Andy Nuttall, Ashley Kolesk (Tom), James Huber and Adriana Mendez; his great grandchildren, Sean Ma, Elizabeth Ma, James Hanson, Jack Ma, Keira McGowan, Molly Hanson, Bryn McGowan, Shea McGowan, Conor McGowan, Liam Marano, Grady Marano, James Kolesk, Myles Huber, Reilly Marano and Brian Kolesk; and his siblings-in-law, Mary McManus and Thomas Mahoney.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM and from 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Margaret's of Antioch Church (115 W Central Ave, Pearl River, NY 10965). A committal service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Ascension Cemetery (650 Saddle River Rd, Airmont, NY 10952).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to United Hospice, (unitedhospiceinc.org.).
