He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Ettles and Hilma Ettles (Engstrom). He is survived by: his wife Gabrielle (Clery); and his cousin Robin Ettles (Mardie) of New Brunswick, Canada..
On the first pandemic lockdown in March 2020, Chris finished writing a novel, THE CURE THAT KILLED and by August 2020 it was on the shelves of local book stores and available on Amazon and Target.
