He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Emory and Elizabeth Swint Emory; and his brother James Bleichert. He is survived by: his son Joseph R. Emory; his sisters, Paula Dwyer (James) and Carol Weizenhofer (Duane Condon); and also Rachel Bautista-Emory. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
