She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Grossman and Hyman Grossman of Liberty. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheri Canfield (David) of Glenmont and Pamela Ackerman-Garcia (David) of Fanwood; her grandchildren, Shelby Asher (Kory), Alex, Mackenzie Townsend, Brandon and Joshua Garcia; her great grandchildren, Emilia and Oaklyn Asher; her brother Sydney Grossman (Kay) of Fort Myers; and her niece Amy.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Lydia may make a memorial contribution to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
