He was predeceased by: his parent Domenico Futia; his stepparent Assunta Trimboli Futia (Peppa); and his brother Luciano Futia (Tamara). He is survived by: his parent Rosa Selva Fiorita Futia; and his siblings, Agostino Futia (Maria), Pietro "Enzo" Futia (Angela) of Siderno, Antonio Futia (Carmelina), Elsa Figliomeni, Giuseppe Futia (Patricia), Michael Futia (Rebecca), Edoardo "Aldo" Futia (Vincenza) and Rose Caldarazzo (Samuele). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, as well as many other loving relatives.
