It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victor John Markiewicz (Albany, New York), who passed away on September 19, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Clemens Markiewicz; his brothers, Richard and Donald; and his former wife Mary Ellen Markiewicz. He is survived by: his parent Emily Markiewicz (Mroz); his spouse Mary Ellen Steinbach; his sons, Victor J. Markiewicz Jr (Penny) and Craig Markiewicz; and his grandsons, Zachary and Benjamin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A lover of animals, Vic Sr. requested that donations be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY, 12204, in lieu of flowers.
