He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Classen and Elfriede Classen (Thaiss); his sister Eleanor Parsons; and his brothers-in-law, Melvin Parsons and Neal Marrion.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Classen (Marrion); his children, Christopher Classen, Jeffrey Classen (Kristen), Jeanne Classen, Gregory Classen (Colleen) and Edward Classen (Christine); his grandchildren, Ian, Alexandra, Kelsey, Bridget, Elise and Max Classen; and his sibling's children, Heather Stefanini (Michael), Andrew Parsons (Julie) and Alex Marrion (Kristen).
