It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Theodore E. Kyre of Alden, New York, who passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Theodore is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Theodore's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his brother Martin; and his son Jim. He is survived by: his grandson Garry Pitz Jr. Ted; and his children, Jenny Andruczyk (Dan), Kenny Kyre (Marge), TJ Kyre (Sharon) and Cheryl Pitz. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home (13228 Broadway, Alden, NY 14004). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's RC Church (2021 Sandridge Rd, Alden, NY 14004).
