It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph A. Atwater of Allegany, New York, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his adoptive father Ron Morris. He is survived by : his birth father James Atwater; his children, Shane, Seth Upton, Shyanne and Shaylynn Upton; and his siblings, Michael Atwater (Christina), Stacy Harrington (Matt), Lee Atwater, Tonda Shaver, Chelsea Tarr, Jacob Tarr, Zakery Tarr, Tiffany Tarr, Kevin Morris, Lenny Morris, Jeremy Morris, Mindy Rinker (Mitchell) and Ronald Morris. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Memorials may be made to Oishei Children's Hospital, 818 Ellicott St., Buffalo, NY 14203.
