She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Rakhamaji Rao and Annapurnabai Phanse; her spouse Dr. Balwant Laxman Kotmire; her children, Sushama Kotmire Thandla (Srinivas) of Allegany, NY, Shirish Kotmire (Vrushali) of Mumbai and Girish Kotmire of San Diego, CA.; her grandchildren, Rahul Thandla (Ooha), Rajiv Thandla, Shilpa Thandla of Allegany, NY and Shashank Kotmire of Mumbai; her siblings, Ramesh Phanse (Sarita) of Mumbai, Narayan Phanse (Sunita) of Mumbai, Bhagirath Phanse (Sunita) of Indore and Anita Holkar (Anil) of Indore; her sisters-in-law, Shakuntala Phanse and Shobha Phanse of Indore; and her child India. She was also cherished by several loving nephews, nieces.
