He was predeceased by: his parents, David L. Butler and Harriet LaBelle Butler; his brothers, Albert, Jason, Pat and Ken Butler; and his son Jordan Smith.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Lorie A. Smith of Allegany; his daughter Ashley Robertson (Ian) of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Thage, Emery, Jason, Leila and Ian; his brother David Butler; and his half-brother Marc LaBelle.
