He was predeceased by : his parents, Laurence D. Appleby and Mona A. Murphy Appleby; and his siblings, William Appleby, Gerald Appleby, Beverly Prindle and Nancy Kantner.
He is survived by : his wife Donna M. Smith; his daughters, Michele Arnold (Thomas) of Olean and Karin Appleby of Allegany; his grandchildren, Jaclyn Kuhn (Donald) of Livingston, TN, Kathleen Phillips (Adam) of Williamsville, Melanie Arnold of Olean and Joseph Arnold of Allegany; his great grandchild Henry T. Phillips; and his siblings, Mima Carroll of DeBary, FL, Linda Berko (James) of Longwood, FL and Charles Appleby (Carole) of Springfield, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
