He was predeceased by : his parent John Carroll; his siblings, Thomas Carroll, Joseph Carroll, Richard Carroll, William Carroll and Ursula Robertson; and also Judith A. Carroll.

He is survived by : his parent Florence Carroll (Brunese) of Salisbury, CT; his spouse Michiko Kojima; his daughters, Arleen Frances Carroll-Chesser of Laurel, MS and Lori Perotti; his siblings, John Carroll, Philip Carroll and Jean Leggett of Amenia, NY; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Chesser, Matthew Perotti and Allison Perotti. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and several dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #178, P.O. Box 22, Millerton, NY 12546.
